THE SECRETARIAT
Gabrielle Gilbert - Secretary General
Pleased to meet you! My name is Gabrielle Gilbert, and I am honoured to serve as Secretary-General for the 2025 JACMUN conference. I am currently finishing my second year as an Honours Social Science student, in the Justice and Society profile.
In my time away from the MUN circuit, l've enjoyed publishing my first poetry book, volunteering with elephants in Southeast Asia, and experiencing my life to the fullest with my loved ones.
I originally joined Model UN to challenge myself, have some fun, and learn something new. However, it's become so much more than that.
I look forward to meeting you all!

Nicole Khella - Chargée D'Affaires
Hey! My name is Nicole Khella and I am a second year Honours Social Science with Math student. I am delighted to serve as your Chargée D’Affaires! Joining Model UN has been one of the greatest decisions I’ve made. It has helped me channel my public speaking skills, engage in meaningful debate, meet new people and has given me opportunities I couldn’t have dreamed of.
Outside of MUN, I’m a figure skater (which drains most of my money), I love cinematography and I’m a volunteer for the Canadian Robotics Competition. You’ll most likely find me taking a nap on campus at any time between classes.
I can’t wait to meet you all!

Milissa Ourari - Internal Coordinator
Hello! My name is Milissa Ourari. I am a second-year student in Sciences and am the Internal Coordinator of JACMUN 2025. Last year, I joined the club Model UN not knowing what I was getting myself into. I knew that it would revolve around public speaking, collaboration and networking. But, it can be so much more. It is so much more. Being a part of JACMUN means building strong relations with the people you will be working with.
In my free time, I love reading, going out with my family and my friends, and running. I really hope to see you all this semester and remember that the biggest risk a person can take is to do nothing!

Rebecca Desmangles - USG Training
Hi everyone! My name is Rebecca and I am a second-year student in the Arts, Literature and Communication program. It is an honour for me to be your USG Training! I joined the world of MUN during my first semester and it has truly been one of the greatest decisions of my life. I have met so many amazing people throughout my conferences and have developed incredible skills that I never thought I could acquire.
Other than MUN, I am passionate about music. At times, I love to sing and play the ukulele in my room. I also enjoy spending time with my family, reading some new books and writing anything down in my journal.
I am so excited to meet you all!

Chloe Nassar - USG Public Relations
Hello! My name is Chloe, and I’m currently a second-year student in Social Science Psychology. I’m thrilled to be serving as USG PR !
MUN has been an incredibly rewarding experience, helping me develop valuable life skills and forge meaningful friendships.
Beyond MUN, I’m extremely passionate about music, particularly classic rock. You’ll often find me with my headphones on, listening to artists like Jimi Hendrix, Mötley Crüe,Jeff Buckley and Led Zeppelin. I also love attending concerts whenever I can (and if I can’t I will most definitely lose track of what’s more important and make time to go to a concert).
I’m really looking forward to meeting all of you!

Jack Tomat - USG Finances
Hi! I’ll be serving as this year’s USG of Finances. I’m in my second year in the Commerce program and I joined JACMUN last year. I joined since I had an interest in debate, communication and international relations. I also wasn’t sure what to do with my free time during the year, so MUN was an opportunity to both have fun with great people and feel like you’re doing something productive at the same time!
Aside from JACMUN, I golf, play hockey, tutor, travel, I’m the VP of Law & Debate club, and do random side-quests that life throws at me.
Looking forward to a great year within budget!

I hope that all our delegates have a similarly enriching experience. In my leisure time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing sports, & listening to music.
